What People's Say About Place

DON'T SLEEP on this place!!! It's gotta be hard being a food place right next door to In-N-Out- cuz you know they have a drive thru line sometimes a mile long or more with die hard burger lovers- but if you just keep going another yard you will find Mely's Restaurant on the corner serves amazing food!! It's family ran and homemade - I got their Cheese and Jalapeno pupusa and a carne asada sope- fresh made, hand kneaded, fresh cut ingredients and the superb flavor. They got it down when it comes to the moist to grease ratio when they fry their food - it is perfect!! The sope was exactly the way I like it (without having to ask if they can make it) it came with well a crunchy shell and their spicy and not so spicy was delicious ---I will be going there again for sure!!

The food is really tasty here! It tastes homemade and all ingredients are fresh and flavorful. The pupusas (not pictured) are REALLY delicious!!! Kind staff and cute little seating area & large shaded table outside. I highly recommend this spot for a fresh Salvadoran meal.

It’s literally a small hole in the wall but amazing Salvadoran food for sure! What blew me away was the tamale de ellote. But the pupusas were good as well as the pastelitos de pollo, service was amazing, definitely recommend for that authentic salvi “diet” haha

Phenomenal experience. This is my favorite go to spot in the area. I highly recommend if you are looking for delicious food and a great ambiance!

Small local place where the service is friendly and pretty quickly. The pupusas were good as well as their platanos. The only thing we were crazy about was their drink. It wasnt bad just a bit too sweet. Overall a good place to visit for pupusas.

A nice little pupusa restaurant. May seat 20 inside and outside. Good pupusas. Ok curtido. Their own spicy sauce which is good, but I prefer Tapatio, which they don’t have. Nice coffee. Nice friendly vibe. Talk radio in the back in Spanish, with occasional music. I would prefer all music. The three TVs were turned off, which was good. I would return if in the neighborhood, but I would not go out of my way.

A hole in a wall place. Went here for my birthday and these have been the best pupusas I’ve had! Good prices and definitely reasonable and affordable! Lots of options for pupusas. This restaurant also has a variety of food from El Salvador. Underrated and would come again to try other food! Recommend the agua frescas too.

The cheese-based pulpusas were absolutely incredible, to the point of making the good pork-based pulpusas taste mundane in comparison! We enjoyed a lot of dishes here, such as the chicken in mushroom sauce, and the horchatas.
